Programme Management:
-Prepare and oversee programme implementation to ensure timely and quality delivery of all programme activities
-Prepare and keep updated the annual Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP), Phased Budget and Procurement Plan.
-In close cooperation with the MEAL team prepare and implement an annual MEAL plan to ensure that the proper monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning mechanisms are in place.
-Monitor and update the risks and mitigation measures in the Award Risk Assessment.
-Oversee project expenditure and hold budget management responsibility for the project, including monitoring budget vs expenditure, ensuring that costs are allocated correctly and expenditure is happening in line with the plan
-Monitor proper time writing in SC’s Effort Reporting system and agreed Level of Effort among project and support staff
-Prepare and participate in the internal Monthly Project Progress Review meetings.
-Prepare Monthly Invoices for submission to EDC through SCUS in consultation with Finance, HR and Awards.
-Ensure that internal and external reporting requirements are met, including monthly, quarterly and annual narrative and financial reports, in line with the required format and with review and input from relevant Technical Advisors.
-Staff management including Performance and Talent Management and any necessary recruitments.
-Coordinate technical assessment and advice missions by SCUS Technical Advisors and others.
-Capacity strengthening of staff and partners
Representation & Organisational Learning:
-Represent SC and actively participate in the quarterly planning and other meetings of the Consortium.
-Keep EDC informed of the key developments and challenges in implementing the programme
-Liaise and coordinate with the regional and local authorities and other stakeholders in the SC project areas.
-In collaboration with EDC, the SC Advocacy Unit and senior SC staff engage in advocacy activities targeting decision makers at various levels.
-Participate in the monthly SC Education Thematic meetings in Sikasso and other internal and external planning and learning events.
-Take steps to document lessons learned for wider dissemination.
General:
-Comply with the Children policies and practice with respect to child safeguarding, code of conduct, safety and security, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures. |
