| CALL FOR PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP: IT NETWORK MANAGER Date of publication: 04/10/2019 Location: Akwa, Douala Type of Job: Internship Dateline: 04/12/2019 IT NETWORK MANAGER The IT Network Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing both the technical and managerial aspects of the organization’s IT Network Team and Technology platform. Their job is to do the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT network infrastructure, as well as managing the IT network administrative and support team responsible for maintaining that infrastructure. Task: - Identify, research, resolve technical problems, assessing client’s computing requirements. Respond to e-mail on technical support, documents, track and monitor problems, and solve them in time - Putting in place network security measures to protect database from security breaches, disaster situations, internal and external threats, and provide disaster recovery plans, ensure system integrity, system availability, system adherence to corporate IT policies and procedure - Designing and testing network plans to meet clients need, monitoring and reporting on network performance and usage, managing network growth and development - Designing and maintaining network including LANs, WANs, VPN, wireless network and other data and voice communication network systems - Perform other task as required by IT and corporate leadership |

| Profile: - Ability to communicate technical details effectively with lay users, knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software - Analytical thinking skills, ability to initiatives, ability to accept criticisms and work well under pressure, persistence and determination, ability to have a thorough understanding of computer systems and applications - Ability to understand requirements and goals and transform into sustainable solutions, ability to work on weekends and public holidays, and work for extended hours. - Ability to learn rapidly and understand new technologies - Experience in maintaining, administering, diagnosing, trouble shooting, and resolving hardware, software or other network and computer system problems - Ability to develop and implement report, and manage systems NET/SQL- Excel Reporting Services, SQL Database etc… - Providing technical desktop assistance to site and users. - Demonstrate experience administrating server/ data solutions - Ability to maintain and update script - Familiarity with system monitoring and inventory solutions etc… Qualities: - Persistence and determination - Customer service skill - Presentable - Work in group and innovative - Can communicate in English |
