| INTERNATIONAL OIL AND GAS SERVICE COMPANIES RECRUITS WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR Our Client is one of the largest International Oil and Gas service companies that provide services to the drilling, evaluation, completions, production and intervention of Oil and natural gas wells along with pipeline construction and commission. The Client who seek to add to their team in the following role : Workshop Supervisor Location : Abidjan, Ivory Coast To supervise the entire workshop and yard activities in-fine with Company policies, procedures and systems, statutory regulations and good industry practice. - Supervise and check the QC Inspection, servicing, assembly and testing performed against Company and third party equipment in accordance with Company quality management system. - Prepare and maintain associated documentation in accordance with Company quality management system. Identify and ensure that suitable staff are hired and trained to fulfil their roles to Company Standards. - Liaise with Product Line Supervisor, SQ/ Operations Supervisor, Support Services and Third-party suppliera to ensure that workis prioritized and completed in a timely manner. - Promote general team spirit with an emphasis on inter - departmental relations. Serve as a team leader for all workshop personnel providing guidance, assistance and support, as and when required. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE - Demonstrated basic keyboard and/or computer skills. Personnel management skills - Demonstrated a knowledge of Rig Systems and Drilling Operations, and a basic knowledge of Well Construction equipment - Possess a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and hydraulic tools, rotary connections, make-up practices, and oilfield sealing systems. |

| QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE - Must possess a good level of general education of at least SCE Standard grades, in Mathematics & English Language or equivalent. - Ideally would have completed a recognised Engineering Trade Apprenticeship. Completed forklift, slings-man, manual handling and crane operation training. - Relevant experience in a workshop environment. Demonstrated an ability to work as a Supervisor in a team environment, as well as an ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems. |
