| Key elements of the role include: Ensuring targeted attraction and retention plans are in place to support the recruitment, development and retention of highly effective employees To provide strategic thinking and advice to the business teams in Cote d`Ivoire, encompassing both short and long term planning Identification of business improvement opportunities across the site for referral to the TO team for investigation Actively managing the work performance of direct reports and actively managing the development of talent and succession to designated key roles, promoting regionalization and other labour strategies Champion compliance with Group directives and policies, with particular focus on management authorities and responsibilities, procurement, inventory control and risk management Provide strong commercial acumen and leadership to all key business decisions and all operational activities Proactively lead the business in understanding the main cost drivers, identifying improvement opportunities Focusing on the trend analysis of data to understand and communicate effectively the impact on future performance Ensure effective implementation of and adherence to in country legislation and the group requirements Provide a critical linkage across the value chain and functions under the business model to understand key value decisions Profil : -To be considered for this role, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance and have a minimum of 10 years` experience in the mining and resources industry in a similar role. -You will have demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills and previous experience as a manager of a multi-function team working in Africa. -Fluency in Business English is essential for the role while French language skills will be highly regarded. |
