| The overall objective of the project is to contribute to inclusive growth in Ghana by strengthening social protection and employment systems in the country. The specific objective is to enhance social protection services notably for vulnerable population groups and to generate decent employment opportunities, with a particular attention to the youth. The expected key results are to achieve: - Equity based investment in Ghanaian Agribusiness Value Chains is promoted, and in particular the presence of Impact Investment Funds is increased in Ghana. - Business between large companies at the top of a value chain and new suppliers is generated. - Export development in the ECOWAS region is promoted. |

| Qualifications and skills - The key expert should have at least a Master`s Degree in a business related subject such as Economics, Trade, Finance, Private Sector Development, or other relevant fields or equivalent professional experience of at least 2 years in addition to the requested general professional experience. General professional experience - At least 6 years of relevant professional work experience of which 3 years as a professional in SME, export and domestic trade development. Specific professional experience - Proven experience in the development and implementation of strategies and workplans to stimulate foreign trade, including the development of business linkages, market research, market penetration and sales promotion. - Requisite experience of working with the value chain and gap analysis. - Excellent written and oral communication in English required. |
