| The overall objective of the project is to contribute to inclusive growth in Ghana by strengthening social protection and employment systems in the country. The specific objective is to enhance social protection services notably for vulnerable population groups and to generate decent employment opportunities, with a particular attention to the youth. The expected key results are to achieve: - Equity based investment in Ghanaian Agribusiness Value Chains is promoted, and in particular the presence of Impact Investment Funds is increased in Ghana. - Business between large companies at the top of a value chain and new suppliers is generated. - Export development in the ECOWAS region is promoted. |

| Qualifications and skills - The key expert should have at least a Master`s Degree in Economics, International Development, MBA or other relevant fields or equivalent professional experience of at least 2 years in addition to the requested general professional experience. General professional experience At least 10 years of relevant professional work experience of which 5 years in international cooperation. Specific professional experience - Proven experience of leading similar investment promotion and/or business linkages activities and /or value chain development activities. - Strong experience of EDF procedures and hands-on management of EDF projects. - Experience in public and private stakeholder engagement, including the agribusiness private sector. - Excellent written and oral communication in English required. Writing samples from recent evaluations or reports will be requested and a phone interview will be organised. - Proven experience with the African and/or Ghanaian socio-economic context, in the area of private sector development and/or investment promotion is an asset. The Team Leader will be responsible for general project management and implementation, including marketing and promotion of the action, coordinating with technical teams, linking and managing participants, reporting, and networking with government agencies. The Team Leader will report to the AGI, Ministry of Finance and EU Delegation and will manage project support staff. |
